Carl Curman (1833-1913) was a Swedish physician and a scientist – as well as a prominent amateur photographer. He did a lot of traveling abroad in Europe, mainly to study health resorts, but also to study art and architecture.
These photos from Swedish National Heritage Board were taken in Germany in the early 1880s when he traveled there.
